Hunters Sharing the Harvest

Since 1991 the Hunters Sharing the Harvest venison donation program has coordinated the processing and distribution of donated wild game from hunters to hungry people throughout Pennsylvania. This outreach program channels wholesome venison via a network of approved deer processors directly to Second Harvest for distribution.

Souper Bowl of Caring
February 5th, 2017

Each year congregations, youth groups and other organizations across the nation use the momentum of the Super Bowl to raise awareness of hunger in their community and collect monetary donations to provide for these folks. Held on Super Bowl Sunday, a special collection is taken during church services and donated to local hunger relief organizations. In northwest Pennsylvania, churches will hold collections to benefit Second Harvest.

If your church, youth group or other organization would like to participate in “Souper Bowl of Caring,” please contact Heather at 814-459-3663 x113.
