Grocery shoppers at area supermarkets will be participating in the Check Out Hunger fundraiser for the Second Harvest Food Bank. The fundraiser will run from January 27 to March 2, 2013. You can participate at the following stores:
Wegmans from Jan. 27 – March 2
Tops Markets from Jan. 27 – Feb. 16
Cashiers at each store will have coupons available to add a donation to the shopper’s total purchases. Each store gives 100 percent of this donation to Second Harvest to help provide nutritious food for those in need.
